IQ tests are valid, real ones anyway. But their value is stretched quite a bit. It basically means that you're good at logical thinking and have a good learning curve.

Some psychologists are talking about multiple intelligences nowadays, so going by that I wouldn't even be sure if it applies to Bill Reid working in the automotive section of Walmart. Zero application, or near-zero, for scholastic-intelligence.
