It was ranked the #1 worst area in the State in terms of Crimes committed this year.

For an Australian town, it's really cold, and the Sun is obscured by clouds for 9 months of the year.

One of the most important Swedish political events of the year, the Almedal week, is hosted here.

There's also the Medieval Week, due to all of the ruins and such here. Old defense walls, churches, strongholds, you name it. the city has a rich history due to it's strategic location (on an island in the Baltic, off the coast from mainland Sweden).

We also have the Gotland Game Conference hosted ere, due to the video game development educations that are held in the city. I'm currently studying one, in fact.
