I don't understand how the ending was "gutsy."

SpoilerWhile it’s undone by the very nature of the MCU with 9 sequels already announced, killing off 14 major characters and running credits with no repercussions on the villain? That’s not in Disney’s nature.

At least there was some lasting impact to the Avengers getting splintered that can be felt even in this film. All the tension from half the cast dying at the end of Infinity War is completely negated because 5 minutes before it happens, they establish that the infinity gauntlet can turn back time and bring people back to life. There's absolutely zero chance anyone who is dead stays dead, except for MAYBE Gamora. It's a "dark" note to end on, sure, but not especially so, nor is it gutsy or ground breaking by any means. You're completely overselling its impact for god knows what reason. Praise the film for its real strengths, not undeserved nonsense.
Movie was good but my theater audience was absolute cancer of clapping and shouting and whistling. Character: *breathes**50 people start clapping and hollering*It annoyed the shit out of me because I couldn’t even hear the movie at times. Girlfriend liked it too.

I'd already seen it so it didn't bother me but I saw a bunch of people really pissed off.

SpoilerDoes anyone else think Thor, Loki and Hulk fucked everything up in retrospect? I mean, if they hadn't killed Hela in Ragnarok and took the space stone off Asgard Thanos would have never accomplished anything. She would have literally turned that grapefruit inside out had he tried anything.

How did no one say anythingI guess it's just more a british thingI did see the kid's (who had been shouted at) parents having a go at the dude after the film though. The cinema in my town lowered ticket prices to a flat £4.99 for everyone + being a saturday evening on launch weekend just meant that it was a really full screening, compared to whenI usually go at like midday/ late morning on a weekday.

Spoilertheory: Dr Strange gave Thanos the time stone because it was a necessary part of the one eventuality in which the Avengers win.
