Watchmen is popular again thanks to Rebirth, so DC is looking to make a quick buck off of it. Which was probably the point of Rebirth to begin with because a TV series will make fuckloads more money than comic books.

Plus, there's the upcoming Doomsday Clock event, that will see Superman meet Dr. Manhattan, whose arrival was marked with the line "The Super Man exists." Very different characters, yet so very akin.

I haven't bought comics regularly in a couple years, but I'll probably buy every issue of this arc.

Rule #1 of HBO shows is Season 1 is always good.

I really can't see them doing more than one season so we should be fine.
