Rewatching the trailers. So I'm assuming Finn nicks a TIE fighter and hightails it out of the Star Destroyer, then crash lands on Jakku.

Since he crash lands on Jakku and TIE fighters are short range, that must mean Ren's Star Destroyer was orbiting it. Makes you wonder what they were doing there.

They then return to the Star Destroyer, where Finn decides to desert, and then hijacks a TIE. I say this because if you look at the scene where Finn pulls off the helmet and looks exasperated, his armor appears dirty, but he's on the Star Destroyer.

Worse than Force Unleashed. Dumb as the EU could be at times that doesn't mean they couldn't bring back Kyle and have him not do stupid OP shit. Kanan is a poor substitute for Katarn. Not necessarily saying Kanan's a bad character, but he's no Katarn.
Why even live in a universe where Fett isn't a Mandalorian?

Quote from: RocketChan on October 23, 2015, 10:02:59 PMKatarn is one of the most unique characters because he's seen both sides of the force. So has:- Luke Skywalker- Anakin Skywalker- Quinlan Vos- Galen Marek- Revan- Jacen Solo- Kanan JarrusAnd probalby a shit load more in the EU. The only thing that made Katarn "unique" was his personality. That of which is basically replicated within Kanan.

Still iffy on whether he's banging Hera, though. He was banging Hera in A New Dawn, so probably still is.

Quote from: Winy on October 24, 2015, 12:43:05 AMI didn't read Dark Disciple, didn't Ventress sort of transition into the light by the time she died?Ehh, more like "I'm doing something for someone else instead of me". Which I don't really get, because didn't they already do that with Ahsoka and Ventress. And then Vos gets her killed. Quote from: RocketChan on October 23, 2015, 11:41:01 PMI was hoping you'd use the rest of my quote too >_>Most characters still apply. Katarn had good personality, but that type of personality and his struggles were far from original in the old EU.

So what if the Knights of Ren was around before Kylo joined, and the 'Ren' bit is just taken from joining them? So Ren isn't his real surname.
