I still haven't pegged down my interests.

I like writing, but when it comes to actually doing it, it feels like I'm scraping my brain along an endless cheese grater. I also really fucking hate being asked to write about myself, and while I got off with telling the class how I slew the Loch Ness Monster in high school, my professors have told me they wouldn't accept that.

I like psychology but I'm really fucking tired of going over why child development and Freud.

I like history but if we cover the the Romans (specifically the first and second triumvirates and a very limited study of its fall) like I did every single fucking year of school between grades five and ten, I'm going to skin myself and set myself on fire in the street while dancing the fucking Can Can.

I like drawing and painting but I really hate drawing from a photograph or things in front of me.

I don't mind programming, I just don't don't feel at all passionately about it like I do with the above subjects.

I don't mind math either, but the way I do things doesn't give to excelling in it.

Take it form me. I took the easy way out in college and chose liberal arts...now I'm hoping I get hit by an 18 wheeler on my way to KMart to put me out of my suffering. Not that I was ever smart enough to be an engineer in the first place. My dad is and I wanted to be one too, but just couldn't do the math.

You're selling yourself short. It's possible for you to learn math but you likely didn't learn in a way suited for you the first time. I learn more efficiently on Khan Academy than I did with some of the teachers I had just shoving packets and skimming over sections.

For me, it'd be History, since I am fascinated by it. Being an archaeologist and travelling the world and going to different excavation sites sounds like one of the coolest jobs ever.
