If I'm not here, I'm doing photography. Or I'm asleep. Or in lockdown. One of those three, anyway.

The current titlebar/avatar setup is just normal.
I try not to, more so since they split up.

Oddly enough, I spend more time with my parents now independently than I did when they were under the same roof together. Huh.

My mother and I have been estranged from each other for a while.  She suffers from some sort of psychosis and it makes it hard to be around her.  She refuses help and it hurts too much to be around her any more.  My dad's got a short temper with strong convictions so simple discussions can get him pissed and yelling.  I don't think I've ever had a deep conversation with him because of it.

I certainly don't. It's primarily why I stick around so much. One of em' needs a hand. And despite my less than cheery upbringing with dad, over the years I've started to appreciate him a lot more. After all I got some of my traits from him too.

And I'm glad that either one of them have provided so much support to me lately. They can't fix everything. But at least knowing that they care is fine to me.

Children with bad relationships with their fathers or no father at all are way more likely to have problems in tons of aspects in life (100% srs no hate to anyone). Lots of studies on that. I started looking into it when  I made a thread asking about fathers and noticed a large majority of people who have "bad attitudes" on this site also had bad relationships with their fathers
