There's just an ingrained taboo surrounding incest in western cultures. While I find it to be extremely gross, there's nothing wrong with it so long as it doesn't beget children.

It is only after the third or second generstion of incestual relationships when probaility of issues due to birth occurs. Anyway, incest as far as I am concerned is socially and morally considered wrong. But honestly if you swing that way it will not affect me. Just like gays do not affect me.

I find this kinda funny. We like to qualify a lot of our opinions about sexuality by saying, "I find it gross, but there's nothing wrong with it."

The whole idea of sexuality is that you find everything else gross, isn't it? So it seems kinda redundant. To me, at least.

The difference, of course, is that like... if you even imply that homosexuality, for example, is gross? You're labelled an intolerant bigot. But that's not bigotry--if you didn't find homosexuality gross, you would be homosexual!

Nothing, really. The only argument against it is "it's icky."

Even if you're not using protection the chances of a birth defect are relatively low despite the popular belief. It only poses a hazard if it starts becoming a generational thing.
