You know, I was thinking about anti black lives matter stuff, and I really think it misses the whole point of the movement. The argument against black lives matter is that it's filled with some people who do some crazy stuff, and I don't remember what that is really. But the point of black lives matter is that there's violence by police against black people, and black lives matter is calling awareness to that. This is just one of the reasons I think "anti social justice warriors" are so full of crap, and they miss the bigger picture.

Another thing, take feminism and "social justice warriors" for example. They're basically subjecting kids, who go around on tumblr talking about their political affiliations, with intense scrutiny. How can you do that without a measure of self awareness and realizing the irony of your own actions? And you could point to larger, more mature instances of "politically correctness" being bad, but when people talk about social justice warriors they're talking about tumblr. And what do people of tumblr stand for, what's the bigger picture? Equality for gays, blacks, poor people, free expression of identity. Huh, it's almost as if those are really good qualities to have.

So yeah, I do get a bit frustrated when I see so much bullshit being propagated around by the rampant cult of hate which is anti social justice warriors. It's like a game. It is a total game to these people, taking other people's lives and making a mockery of it, just so they can laugh and bolster up the notion that social justice warriors are just fucked up. It's become really a disease, that's spread through the society we live in, listening to these people who aren't even concerned with keeping people factually in line, they're just concerned with berating people based off of the political affiliations that they have, often off of just a very small remark about something, they go off like a bomb against them.

I'm not saying that every single person acts that abashedly, but this is the sort of atmosphere that this sort of thinking creates. This is why I don't buy into the whole anti liberal, anti social justice warrior, or whatever values. Because the values that the anti social justice warrior opposes are values that I believe in. And okay, I know there's some people who aren't defensible, but I shouldn't have to defend myself against the things that other people do. That's a logical fallacy, that has nothing to do with the things that I actually believe, if a person for whatever reason does something that I can't personally defend.
