I watched Dr Strange and it wasn't very good

I usually enjoy Marvel movies, I don't really consider any of them bad apart from Iron Man 2. I didn't really have any expectations for Dr Strange so I wasn't hyping it up or anything but... It wasn't that good to me. I can't even remember the bad guy's name and just seemed really forgettable. Benedick Cumonmysnatch was alright, none of the characters really stood out to me. The jokes were pretty lame, but at least the trippy CGI stuff was cool to see. I'd probably give it a 6/10 at best.

What did you think of it?

I thought it was really good, my main problem with it being that it suffers from the same problems as every other post-phase 1 film.

Thought it was extremely forgettable. Most of the jokes were terrible, like the "Adele" one he made while talking to the librarian (I think that's who it was). I mean come on, that was just thoughtless.

I feel like I remember the characters because of the actors, not because of the characters. Chiwetel Ejiofor, Mads Mikkelsen, and Tilda Swinton are all great, but their characters fit typical moulds, and Rachel McAdams might as well have been cut entirely.

I did like how it set itself apart from other Marvel movies' action. The eastern themes are reminiscent of one of my new favorite authors, David Mitchell.

I really liked it, but that's mostly because I was looking forward to it 'cause Dr. Strange is one of my favorite Marvel characters.

I liked it. I agree Kysilius (or however you say it) was in the same vein of forgettable villain as Darren Cross, Obadiah Stane, Justin Hammer, That one Dark Elf dude and that guy who could breathe fire in Iron Man 3, but I really liked it elsewise. Perhaps because it was definitely abreath of fresh air when compared to the prior entries of the MCU.
