It's not a cult, it's just a typical old-guy's club. There's nothing secretive about them.
If that sounds boring and tedious to anyone, that's because it is.HOWEVER it looks great on a resume, grad school app, and it also gives a chance to rub elbows with some very rich people and form relationships that will be useful in business down the line, if you ever need investors, partners, discounted or even pro bono law work, anything like that.It's also very rewarding to give back to the community.I've spent untold hundreds of hours doing charity work with Masonic groups and I don't regret it for an instant.
