Won't feel like that for the first few weeks. For a while you'll feel like you can hang out and party all day and only vaguely give a shit about classes, but that phase doesn't last long. A lot of freshman drop out by the second semester because they thought school was an afterthought and never get out of that mindset.

But on the other hand, here's something that took me a while to realize: you don't need to go to class. Most of your professors won't really care if you're there or not, unless you have less than twenty people. If you wake up feeling terrible and know you're in no shape to do anything, or have to finish something for a different class or read something you brushed off the night before, then just don't go. Don't skip every other day, but don't think you absolutely have to attend every class to pass.

So I decided to go back to school because 1. I wanted to get out of the house and meet new people and 2. My finances were stable at the time so I didn't need to pick up as many shifts. There were other reasons for deciding to go back but they weren't as vital at the time.

Literally two weeks after I registered for a class back in June I met the qt at work and started spending time with her and some old friends on my days off. And because my car had crazy costs to repair I kinda need extra money to help pay it off. In the span of two months I've lost both my primary motivators for going back.

Freshman semester is easy baby shit. Just wait till the 5th or 6th semester. Then it gets spicy.
