Statistically, you're actually gonna take yourself out in a single-vehicle incident before anything else, either because of present road hazzards, pushing the bike to far, or a combination of both.

I've already done that so next for me is to get fucked by some guy who doesn't see me and pulls out in from of me.

Horrifying. Everything up until that point is fine--I can read about it, talk about, think about it just fine--but as soon as I'm actually behind the wheel, my anxiety shoots up and I start panicking. As a result, I've never gone above 25mph when driving with my parents. Way too scared to go faster.

Today was just introductions and whatnot. My instructor seems okay. Been teaching for 26 years and claims to have never been in an accident with a student. Deadpan sense of humor. I usually hate guy teachers, though. We'll see how it goes.

Back when I was learning, my class had to practice in a cramped little parking lot with sections dedicated to practicing each maneuver. Nobody knew where the hell anything was, so I pretty much just kept practicing parallel parking since everything else was piss easy.

My instructor kept screaming at me to 'follow the lines!', so I looked down at the billions of lines and basically told her to go fuck herself. It was stupid and I learned nothing from it.
