AMA got my temporary instruction permit

over the past seven or so months, i've been practicing my driving with the aid of my parents

now that they've pretty much taught me everything they know, i decided in the middle of june that i was gonna start taking an actual class, to get my official license and whatnot

so, within the next two weeks, i hope to become a licensed driver

Although Driver's ED gives you a discount on insurance fees.

I have exactly a month until I get to bypass the need for me to have a little piece of paper that I was give a year and a half ago and lost by turning 18 and passing the driving test.

I fucking hate driving cars. Riding around in a two-tonne bullet, surrounded by other two-tonne bullets, is not exactly a relaxing experience.

But my parents won't let me get a motorcycle.

I don't think it's as dangerous as a lot of people think; a lot of fatal accidents occur because the rider isn't wearing the right gear, is drunk or is otherwise driving stupidly as opposed to a car driver just not seeing them or something.

It is more dangerous on average, but part of it comes down to how well you can control each vehicle. Driving a car puts me on edge, riding a motorcycle less so.

Driving a motorcycle is much worse imo. There are so many factors that you have to consider in such a small amount of time.
