If it's numb or discoloured, you should seek medical attention ASAP, otherwise, there's not too much to worry about, asides from the risk of infection. Don't use ice or freezing water, either. Cooling it too quickly causes damage. It would be better to soak the burn in lukewarm water for 10-30 mins.

lol cute, boiling water will give you serious burns i've got big scars on my arm due to spilling boiling on myself. mind you i was like a year old and just able to crawl so im not sure if that has anything to do with it (maybe your skin is more sensitive at that age???)put toothpaste on the scald areas
