i received a promotion from my job

trudged into work yesterday morning running on < 5 hours of sleep expecting the worst and ended up finally receiving a much-deserved promotion from my boss. now i'm officially a trainer, which is one position below manager, and got a $1 bump in pay. plus, when i'm training a new employee, i get paid an extra dollar/hour as well, so i guess you could say i'm finally moving up in the world :-)

now the weekend is finally here and i can't wait to let loose

how have y'all been during this fine week?

It's been a pretty terrible week.

Just a bit of advice, the only way to truly move up in the world is to start your own business/get into stocks. It takes money to make money.

Been doing shitloads of projects and midterms, didn't get more than 3 hours of sleep any night and pulled an all-nighter two nights this week.

had to write a 10 page research paper on the importance of flowers for my bullshit online class monday night, worked a double shift tuesday, had classes all day wednesday, worked another double thursday, and now i'm writing an essay for my american literature class that's due at midnight tonight. wish we had a fall break here :/

well starting my own business is something that i've been interested in for a while now. i have an idea of what i'd like to do but there isn't much i can do about now since i'm a full time student with no real capital.

That is understandable. People generally don't start a business until a much older age, anyway. It's definitely worth it though, even if it's risky and exhausting.
