Nothing's going to change--no one has any power. Anyone who tries to make a living off of YouTube's Jew gold is a moron.

Clearly you didn't watch the entire thing.I make NO money on YouTube, and even someone like me with 181 subs is at risk at losing years of making videos. My entire channel can get shut down. Granted I'm sure that's what you would want for me to happen and if that does happen I'm packing my things and going to other websites with whatever I have back up or just quit doing videos in general.Brute Reviews is also affected by this. That one guy you watch who looks like a hobo is also affected.

You won't get a copyright strike or your channel taken down if you don't include any copyrighted material in your fucking videos--which "that one guy I watch who looks like a hobo" doesn't do. If your videos DO contain copyrighted material, you run the risk of having it taken down. That's something you have to accept, whether you make money or not.You can cry about fair use all you want--but at the end of the day, YouTube is a business, and they can run it however they please. If you don't like how YouTube runs itself, then stop using YouTube. You have the right to post whatever you want on your own website.YouTube
Reminder, PewDiePie is a millionaire off of the damn site.
Quote from: Decimator Omega on January 28, 2016, 07:59:17 PMReminder, PewDiePie is a millionaire off of the damn site. There's a handful of people who have won the YouTube lottery--but that's what it is. A lottery. As for the little guy, quitting his job to start up his own little shitty Minecraft gaming channel, expecting to make some YouTube bank? He's a moron, and he he shouldn't be surprised if his monetization gets taken away.I'm not saying it's fair--I'm saying that people have been bitching about this for years and years and years, and YouTube has done absolutely nothing to change. The best way to avoid getting fucked by YouTube is to not post copyrighted material. Make your own original content.
Should have known verb would take the side of the single biggest try-hard edgelord on youtube.
What about channels like Cr1TiKaL? And I am at risk because I do upload gameplay of video games that I play, even my commentaries contain them. You even think my tutorial on modding PSPs with custom firmware is even going to have a chance? If the whole thing with "Fair use" has changed, YouTube needs to address that to people in an email and not play copyright police here. And as Doug said, even family videos can get affected to those that DO upload stuff. And did I metion that Brute Reviews is also affected? Sep7agon's very own Brute with the reviews he made for you guys?

I'm not saying it's a good thing, I'm not saying it should happen, but it fucking does.Critical is a dumbass for not having a job he can fall back on in case he ever gets fucked by the system.
Actually he does have a job. He donates his YouTube money to charity.
Wait I mean banned not dies
