Cat is 16 this year, she still bounces around but she isnt looking great this winter, she'll get cuddles till she's better

My cat will, without fail every single night, come and sleep on me when I go to bed

She'll come greet me when I wake up in the morning

She'll always sit on me, or if she can't sit on me, next to me

She follows me outside constantly

My cats slept with me every night and when I get a chance I'm going to get them back.

Here's my real 2 cents on this thread.

I had to put my cat down 3 years go. Literary the hardest decision I made in my entire life. Watching him go also wasn't easy. Pretty sure as a cat owner you know that feel or would eventually know that feel if you are ever in that situation.

My cat's sunbathing in the kitchen window and my dog's taking his regular 16 hour nap in the study.

Obligatory pet pictures:

Mordred just lays around on the floor randomly all day, he's such a couch arm potato. Whenever I'm in a game he'll jump onto the open space in front of desktop right next to me and meow or try to rub his face on my right hand, or try to get onto my lap. I have to keep picking him up to put him down on the floor, just to hear a meow followed by him jumping right back onto that spot.

Whenever I come home I pick him up and hug him and rub my face next to his and he just looks annoyed or doesn't seem to show much interest. He never wants affection when I want it. He doesn't scratch the litter in the litter box either. He'll jump out after taking a shit and scratch the floor around it. He chirps whenever he sees a lizard through the backyard glass door, and I tried putting him outside (supervised of course) so he can finally do what he wants and all he did was cry until I put him back in. I have to leave the bathroom door closed or he'll walk in grab the toilet paper and turn the bathroom floor into the snow fields of Coerthas.

Yet despite all these things that agitate me or frustrate me, I still love him to death and I'm glad I got him when he was small and young so I can spend as much time with him as possible.
