According to the geniuses who work in the state, I ran a red light. I didn't know a fucking yellow light counted as a red color and being in the middle of the street when the light turned red warrants a damn $270 ticket. What the fuck should I do? The state sent me mail of the photo of my car 'doing' this deed and it says to confirm the driver of the car. Should I just ignore it or what?

I'm looking at the photos online for my shit. One of them had my car in the middle of the intersection and the lights being red.. The other one was my car on the crosswalk when the light was red. Which was by the time I couldn't see above me and the light was still yellow. Fuck this shit man.

I don't run through yellow lights, this one I had to since I had no time to brake and stop, so I had to keep going to prevent any crash behind me or risk sticking the front of my car out in the open.

You claim you couldn't stop your car in time, but also that the light changed as you were half way through the intersection. Whatever your story is, you still ran a red light and as much as it sucks, you're not going to win an appeal.
