Myself, and four of my other co-workers just put in our two weeks notice.

We were the highest ranking employees, who worked the most hours.
Tomorrow, the owners will confront us, and we'll have to dodge their questions.

None of us have secured new jobs, but we think we'll be fine.

We almost quit on the spot while the entire Chamber of Commerce was gathered in our lobby.

I actually didn't think anyone cared.

I quit because I need a job that I don't come home from smelling like shit every day, and the shoes I have to wear make me feel like my feet are falling apart.

my dad worked in bbq, opening restaurants around the state, so i know this to be a VERY true statement about how dependent these places are on their core employees

These are ridiculous, of course, but that's my minimum for staying.

Currently our highest paid employee makes $12/h, and he has a 15 year tenure.
