Today at work, a coworker who I absolutely despised kept going on about how her and her husband are planning to have a baby. This girl is only 24 years old and while one should not just the age of a ready parent, this girl is literally the whitest trash on Earth. Her and her husband (who she never shuts up about) are constantly fighting, she has no goals and just wants to work this current dead end job we're at just so she can go home and take care of him. She hates anybody who has drive or is successful. She called me an awful person because I told her I wanted to leave this God awful position and move up to make more money because "People who want more money are selfish."

And now here I am thinking, about her and her abusive husband as potential parents. This isn't right, not existing at all would literally be a better option for that soul than being "raised" by her. This child is going to be born in a shitty situation and there is fuck all anyone can do to stop even the slightest permanent scarring. At this point I came to a realization. Verbatim may have something going here, an existence like that would be awful. You could be born into some billionaire family and be happy for the rest of your life, or you could be born into a couple that fights every other night and the highlight of both their lives was a rushed marriage right out of high school. The only winning move is to not play.

Not really an obsession, just disagreements on shit with Harlow, especially in regards to being with Jay since Jay gave people in the mains shit including myself because of a petty disagreement. I was there in the beginning of the group, or at least around the beginning, before that I was in Harlow's Royal Guard. Post history should be there but you'd have to go far back and do some digging. Harlow and I at one point used to be cool with one another but now shit has changed after 7 years. People change. I changed, he changed.

Can't say I really care anymore anyway.

And of course the biggest idiots here say I'm obsessed with everything because apparently that's what autists do.

I remember reading into a study some years back, about what makes people tick. Or, for short, why some people are successful, and others are not. And there was one case that stuck with me. Two seperate people were asked the same question.

These two seperate people came from a shitty family, abusive fathers, and a shitty, slummy neighborhood. Almost the exact same childhood parameters. The question posed to both of them was, "Why are you where you're at in life right now?"

The poor, drug dealing guy behind bars said, "Because that's how I was raised. What other way was there if that's all I was taught?"

The successful businessman said, "Because that's what I grew up in. I had no other choice because I didn't want to be what my father was."

Two shitty families. Two shitty neighborhoods and two shitty childhoods. Yet different results.

Now, does this neccessarily excuse all kids being born into bad ways? No, it certainly doesn't. However, there are people who choose to overcome what they were given and end up leading good lives because of it. And that's why I don't take a hardline stance on not having kids completely. I completely agree that if you're a shit parent and that you can't provide for your children, you shouldn't have them in the first place.

And yet, there's the people who come through bad upbringings. Some might have their scars along the way. But in the end, they learn to reject what they started as. They go after something better that makes them happy in life. And they eventually grow to wade through their past and put it to rest behind them as they move forwards.

Like I said. It certainly doesn't excuse shitty parents from making kids. But it's something to think about.

I'm just happy that I can actually have a conversation with people about it, and I can actually have people understand where I'm coming from. That's the most important thing to me at the end of the day. You don't have to agree with a word of what I say--it would be great if you did, but I just want people to see where I'm coming from more than anything else.

I don't want people to think I'm just crazy, or depressed, or even "genocidal," as challenger would put it. I always thought these were just lazy put-downs used only by people who are afraid of new ideas, so, to see that people here are a lot more open towards my philosophy now? That makes me pretty happy.

Basically, I just appreciate that people can actually put some thought into it, even if they still don't agree.
