This is the way the world ends. Not with a bang but a whimper.
I was trying to read Atlas Shrugged earlier, but I got about 15 pages from where I left off the previous time because I was just so fucking bored. I don't know whether it's the book, or just me.

Anybody else get this?

Yeah, I've gotten to the point where I'm tied of reading in general. I do it to try and keep my brain active at least because I'm unemployed, but I got halfway through a Tom Clancy novel and I'm bored with it. Or maybe because over the summer I read three of his books and they're basically all the same thing...

The angel agreed to trade a set of white wings for the head of another demon. Overjoyed, the demon killed one of his own and plucked the head right off its still-warm body.

The angel then led the demon to heaven, where he underwent centuries of the cruelest tortures imaginable. Finally, the pain was so great that he lost consciousness - at which point his dark wings turned the promised shade of white.
Towards most things yes.

I just can't read properly. I usually just sit down and try to find a place with no noise but unfortunately there is none of those in the winter.
