She says that I am a healer. For me to feel truly there, someone has to be broken and in a place where my energy heals theirs.

Case in point. There's a woman at work who obviously has the hots for me. She's well adjusted, successful, in a department that would be professionally very good for me to get into. And she's smoking hot. Like intimidating hot.

She's always stopping by my desk asking why I don't smile as much as I used to, and what projects we can team up on. Oh... She wanted to go out drinking when my divorce was final.

I'm not attracted to her in the slightest. Al Baghdadi owes so much to the federal government in taxes (because her dad did them for her three years ago) and I'm dizzy with lust. I hate admitting this, but my coworker is at least 30 times hotter.

Yet, I would never break off from Al Baghdadi. In fact, it doesn't occur to me.

Someone who I've been talking to has been through the same thing, she's six years older than me though. And a few girls actually have told me they've had physically abusive exes.

i sorta know how that feels... i wouldn't say i'm attracted to it tho

my girlfriend has some depression too, abusive relationship as well, friends backstab her a lot, suicidal thoughts, etc etc

this is the first time i've really helped someone like this

she tells me that i really do help her, that she really trusts me (she says she doesn't trust anybody after all that backstabbing) and stuff
