anyways, school officials told the kid to cover up his shirt because it depicted violence, even though its in a fictional universe. seriously, why are dress codes a thing? do we need to wear white polos and khakis now?

I neither fear, nor despise.
Most schools I went to had a dress code of some sort. My high school required that you wear school shirts and they be tucked in.

Eventually they got lax but it was incredibly stupid
