Or rather frosting, which in the US people like to put 30 pounds of sugar frosting on their cake. I think frosting is fucking disgusting so I'm usually turned away by most cake.

Cake can be good when the frosting ratio is correct, otherwise I'm on the same boat. I love the actual cake part of the cake, not a fan of going overboard with frosting. Way too sugary.

The frosting doesn't fucking matter, even the sponge of the cake is incredibly sugary and calorie dense. If you're so worried about sugar, steer clear from cake.
