I think you told someone to go fuck themselves for implying you're racist.

Charlie said something about me not caring about Teryvon Martin and not thinking of him as a person when in fact I don't know a single person who is a bigger advocator for human rights than me.
That gets you banned? I mean, if someone calls you something and you respond with the implied same level of hostility, it's pretty stupid to only ban one party.

How long is it?

How long is it?Pretty sure it's one day.The sticky has been up for at least two months now, and it's straightforward. If you don't get it, one of us would be happy to explain in more detail.
Calling someone a racist isn't necessarily being hostile.
I have a feeling that explanation would differ by each mod. Sometimes posts are edited, sometimes there's a ban involved, and often things are just ignored unless something is as forward as "fuck you". You guys frequently ignore intent over message. Charlie attacked the guy's character and you don't care, but he responds in kind and gets a ban. It's just a day, no big deal, but still, no need to be quippy when it's obvious moderation is anything but standardized.
To many, his death is a good thing.

Quite a few people defended use of force in a case of self defense, but that's not the same thing as saying he deserved to die because he's a thug. I'm sure a lot of them were influenced by racism. If that's so contemptible, why would you bring it up to defend the same thing about Scalia?
