My back hurts like shit. My sides literally hurt like fuck when I laugh. I was riding all around the neighborhood today and my board flew out from under me, I landed flat on my ribs. I thought that was broken at first, but I went and had an xray done to see if it was fractured. The rib was bruised, but it won't require that much time to heal at all. I'm really grateful. Plus I was wearing a helmet. I guess I can thank drinking half a carton of almond milk and half a tub of greek yogurt a day for all those strong bones.

In middle school when I practiced rolls on concrete I'd have days where any movement would excite a lot of back pain.

At least you were smart enough to get x-rayed straight away.
When I took a nasty fall while competing (horse riding) a few years ago I thought nothing of it, even though I was in excruciating pain, and got back on the asshole of a pony and finished all of my events. Found out 2 weeks later that I'd crushed 2 vertebrae and fractured a 3rd.
Then was called a liar all through school because "if your back is broken you wouldn't be able to walk, you just want people to feel bad for you".
Not really, I just wanted my sports teacher to fuck off and stop trying to make me participate.
