Yeah I've served. Though I haven't tried tons of restaurants, the two I served at made me hate people in general. You are given more to do than is physically possible in the time expected.

You don't need a teaching degree to get a teaching license. Get a degree in something you like, and then become a teacher once you graduate. Teaching degrees are one of the few degrees that are actually useless.
