Snake, it really sucks that you can't seem to find a career path that you could potentially enjoy. I'm in the same boat--I don't like work, and every job I could ever get will forever be a job. A chore. Something that I don't want to do, but do anyway, even if I hate doing it. That's pretty much where I'm headed. So I know exactly how you feel.

However, to levy that angst over everybody else and say, "This is how everyone else should feel, too," is just a little bit silly. It comes across as petty, vindictive, and in a way, jealous.

I have nothing but the best intentions for everybody here. I'm trying to save them from future disappointment; when they realise how hollow their ambitions and plans really were. Because by the time they realise that, it'll be too late.

An important and truthful message, but I just think there are more adroit ways of going about that. You're not going to get anyone on your side by calling them stupid for not wanting to be miserable like you and me.

Probably. But I don't think I need to explain to you how frustrating it can be to argue the same thing, over and over; to say the same things, over and over. And get nowhere. My patience is, unfortunately, not limitless, lol.

Besides: it's worth noting that this is in the Flood, so anything I say should be taken with a grain of salt. Notice my "I am the absolute truth." post on the first or second page.
