When I meet someone, I make the effort to make eye contact. It never feels natural for me to do so, though.

Yup I do it. Nothing like staring hard into someone's eyes and making them look away. It's like establishing a psychological dominance over them. I love it.
Some people Ill make eye contact with just because I think they're good looking.

I try to make attempts to look people in the eyes. Not in a weird staring way but if my head starts drifting away from them I try to look back again.

Eye contact is one of those weird cultural things. I was raised in a Native American family and we consider eye contact disrespectful, so I have to consciously remind myself not to look down when talking to white people.

I've heard it's the same with many Asian and Latino cultures.
