I went in there because one of my packages was undeliverable, unbeknownst to me because of me putting the street before the number online. The woman told me that I need to put down the new address in their system (because they still had my old address before I moved), so the packages can make it to my house. So I said "It would be nice if I was told this, because it's cost me a lot of money". Instead of apologizing or something, she just says "we're a mail service, not a human service". Now that's pretty fucking telling of the attitude of these people, right there.

Then later when I asked them if the package was still here, she got it from the back of the store and said "[redacted] is like my new son hahahaha" in sort of a joking way. The way I interpret that is they feel like they're having to take care of me like a kid or something, which I also find pretty insulting. I just smiled and said that it was so cool that they had my package and could reroute future ones, but damn, I don't ever want to deal with those people ever again.

You could start going to another Post Office, they're literally all over the place. Also, next time just tell them off. Best case scenario you'd both get in an argument and she'd probs be fired. Worst case, your mail won't be sent out on that day.

I don't do that sort of thing in public.
