Holy shit, my grandpa has this.. The guy is a beast, he can still do pullups n shite at 80 years old, the thing is from the 80s though so its not that stable.. How cheap do they go for?

Maybe you could use resistance bands by tucking one under each leg of the tower and then looping them over your ankles? When I do bodyweight exercises and want to increase difficulty, I just do them slower and pause in the middle. For pushups I do 4-4-4, so I take 4 seconds to get down, pause in the bottom (off the ground), then 4 seconds up. You could do the same thing with leg raises and it'll basically do the same thing as a weighted rep.
