The movie takes place aboard the globe-spanning Snowpiercer train which holds the last remnants of humanity after a manufactured attempt to stop global warming created a new ice age. Captain America stars as Curtis Everett, a member of the lower-class tail section passengers as they lead a revolution against the elite of the front of the train.
A couple of weeks ago, I read the description about Snowpeicer on Netflix, and instead of having trains, the description made the movie sound like the revolution was about surfing. Weird right?
Hah, I watched that with my roommate a few months ago. Wasn't a fan.
I can't decide if it's a good movie or a trash one.The reveal at the foot of the engine compartment was extraordinary. If only the rest of the movie took itself that seriously.
I heard it was eally bad
It's a great film, but it is definitely one of the most soul-crushing films I've ever seen.

In the wake of the revelation you mentioned I forgot about the more questionable elements of the film. Namely, the guards gutting the trout with the hatchet. What the hell was that about?

What the hell was that about? The fight scenes weren't especially remarkable either. and Most things inbetween were just incredibly surreal.I don't even know where to begin with that damn ending.
