Sad at times, yes, but that's why it stands out from most children's films; there's actual emotional storytelling. In fact, I think that's exactly how I would describe the film. It has sad aspects, yes, but that doesn't make the film depressing. It just makes it emotional and genuine.Besides, you of all people shouldn't be averse to watching a movie because it has some sad parts. Isn't one of your favorite films Requiem for A Dream?
