My girl hasn't cheated on me yet but I'm not oblivious to the fact that it can and might happen

The only way to stop your girl from cheating is by being insanely possessive and watch their every move. And that's a shit relationship for both people. Just gotta accept the possibility and likeness of it happening

There's a high probability that anyone will cheat, especially given society's standards on the issue. Our generation especially doesn't see sex as it used to.

Unfortunately this is a roadblock for monogamous relationships, but I'm not convinced polyamorous relationships are the way to go.

I don't think you guys understand. Women act on emotion, what they say one day can be different than what they do the next because of how they feel. This isn't necessarily a bad thing

Even the most trustworthy girl can cheat if her emotions are all in the right place at the right time. This is hard to explain TBH.

Right now I'm trying to develop a sort of detached manner to this whole possibility. Sure I KNOW that she any girl I'm with might very well cheat, but I put my full trust in her while trying to stay detached about it enough that I won't be as hurt if it does happen.

Given infinite time, space, and opportunity everyone will cheat eventually. Doesn't mean she's going to do it to you.
