i was predicted higher than the grades i need to get into the university i want, i'll find out in like a month if they were right. it's more of a question if i actually want to go now.

It was a similar situation for me. I don't know how it works elsewhere, but in Sweden you can get accepted into uni based on different things. The two most common are your grades from high school, and this thing called the "College Test". It tests a bunch of basic skills (basically math, Swedish, and English). For the admission statistics, my College Test score was above the average of those who had been accepted into this education previous years.
