It depends on what sort of style you like. Beck's done quite a few, from country to electro and alternative. Here's a link to his albums, with the guideline to follow:

One Foot in the Grave - Alternative/(Country?)
Mellow Gold - 90's Alternative/Experimental
Odelay - Rock/90's Alternative
Mutations - Country (but with not-so-country lyrics)
Guero, Guerolito, and The Information - Electronic/Alternative (Guerolito having remixes)
Morning Phase & Sea Change - Ambient/"Break-up Music"

Listen to a few depending on what sort of genre you like, and away you go. Personally I'd recommend most songs Odelay or One Foot in the Grave.
