Ask them why everyone is damn near superhuman. Ask them why the library in the spirit world, housing all known knowledge, has been sealed off from humanity. Ask them why water-benders are able to cause accelerated healing with what seems to be only water. Ask them why all the past avatar's memories are in third person and not first person. This again? Having the Forerunners responsible for the Avatar world is a much better "theory".
