I missed out on going to a lake with friends today

So I have been working from Mon-Fri and so on Friday I sat down and played games until 4 in the morning. Next thing I know I am waking up on my couch at 2 in the afternoon with multiple texts from a friend saying that a bunch of people were heading down to my local lake and taking down a boat, and all of this happened around 4 hours ago while I was sleeping. I am a dumb bum. Post your mistakes that caused you to have no friends.

It happens. It's not like going to the lake is the best thing in the world anyway. There's a lake near here and there's always dead bodies in it, it's nasty.

No worry for I too have experienced the same thing today except I thought we were going to the beach and decided to sleep in since you can't drink at the beach but found out it was a lake so and yeah

Didn't listen. Now my best friend lives halfway across the state with his girlfriend and I haven't seen him for thirteen months. Video games did cause me to lose close friends. We grew up playing them, but I never realized there was more than just them.

I don't have a job so that means I don't have money. I always see my friends posting pictures on snapchat and instagram of them going to the movies and other places having a good time.

But hopefully that will change soon. I sent in a application at my old high school to be a custodian and the pay is really good.
