AMA I'm heading back to High School after summer AMA.

As many of you know, I am still in High School.

What many of you don't know that since my first year in middle school I have been home schooled.

However, thanks to various reasons i'll be going back to high school next school year.

Let me quickly point something out, I HAVE BEEN HOMESCHOOLED SINCE MY FIRST YEAR OF MIDDLE SCHOOL. Which means I actually have not learned the way schools work past elementary. Everything from lockers, schedules, etc I skipped completely....help.

So, go ahead and ask me questions on my schooling and such, and maybe help me out to get prepped ;-;.

what's the bullying situation like?

how often do you have pep rallies?

do you have to draw faces on pillows for group assignments?

If it gives you an idea, I have a father and mother that are smaller than 6ft and have made 7ft men scared.

But have never layed a finger on me.

And as of now I don't know what school i'm going too. Wish I could research but it's possible i'm moving.

You really should try to keep up the home schooling as much as possible. The public school system is utter trash and irredeemable garbage. I will NEVER forgive the public school system for its incompetence and ultimately lack of care as far as I as an individual wanted or needed. I was literally just another number to them that they used for their own benefit/gain. My child will NEVER be public schooled and I swear on my blood to uphold this value.

Apart from that, get ready to ride the emotional roller coaster of delinquent sociality. The extremes of good, bad and grey, all in a day. Every day. Although routine will always soften things a bit. With any luck you'll earn the emotional maturity to contain knowledge in a benign utility. Your parents sound alright, I wouldn't be surprised if this was the reason you're off to public school now.

Absolutlely. My parents are great at teaching but they can't always teach me themselves and self teaching through online schooling or other ways wasn't working.
However as far as my old school was, I didn't miss it. The teachers were dumber than doornails, the principal didn't care. The kids were evil. Never want to go to that school again.

I first went to a great public school, but then we had to move to a bad one for personal reasons.

So my parents have agreed to only choose a high rated high school for me to go to. Hopefully it works out.

My parents are great. 10/10, they kick ass, metaphorically and literally.

And I doubt I will have the same problem as a lot of people when it comes to being emotional in school, even back in elementary I always had the idea of "i'm here to learn, not for anything else". I had friends, but my main focus was school.

However having 3 tests due the same day? One project for science and a group project needing to be done? Well fuck me that is gonna suck.
