I find this relevant, especially seeing as it's about food.

Because being fat is unhealthy.

First of all, I think it's a catchy song and I like that it's not just a cookie-cutter love song.

However, I think the feedback it's garnered is really bizarre. There's a change of attitude in society about rejecting the notion that women have to be skinny to be pretty. This song isn't about fat-acceptance, it's about acceptance of your body, using herself as a role model. Yeah she's not obese but keep in mind this is criticizing the perspective of media that considers Jennifer Lawrence a "fat actress".

It's not about fat acceptance or skinny shaming; she frames the "skinny shaming" as a joke, and shows that she understands the psychology behind that lifestyle by saying "I know you think you're fat but...every inch of you is perfect".

I dunno. I'm not one to take a liking to pop music, so it irritates me when songs with some actual value come along and then get blasted hypocritically from both sides.
