I live in Georgia, ya know the place where Coke is made... so it kind of makes sense for "coke" to be the generic name for soda, but in reality people in Atlanta are usually asking if they have coke, because they also serve Pepsi in a lot of places. I use the word "soda" most often, because if I were to ask for coke I would receive coke and I'm more of a root beer kind of girl.
