I think your interpretation of the trailer is way off though.
Is Star Wars even a reboot? I mean it's a continuation of the original series, not a complete redo
Quote from: Big Boss on March 24, 2015, 10:26:53 AMIs Star Wars even a reboot? I mean it's a continuation of the original series, not a complete redoThe last movie that came out was back in 2005 and the new one is coming out in 2015. So I say a movie that is coming out 10 years latter after the last one might as well be a reboot of the movies. The other thing is that a new company is in control of Star Wars so their ideas would be different so it's somewhat of a redo.
Well JJ Abrams fucked up Star Trek, so I'm hesitant about Star Wars. Obviously it'll be a good movie, but whether it'll be true to the series is another question. I think your interpretation of the trailer is way off though.
also I am 100% sure Fury Road will destroy Episode VII both in terms of critical reception and actual quality.
Episode VII will likely be a fun movie but will be nothing that great

The trailer looks like it's trying to be as close as what the second movie which made Mad Max what it is today. The movie looks like it's trying to stay as close to the series while also being a reboot. Looking at the Star Wars trailer it seems like it's going to have a lot of stupid things in it. The giant speeder bike is something that should have stayed an idea. QuoteEpisode VII will likely be a fun movie but will be nothing that greatThat's how I see it to. It's going to be a fun movie for all ages but it's just going to stay as a fun movie. I know Mad Max is campy at times but Star Wars has a lot of it. Looking at the trailer that droid on the ball looks like it's going to be one of the campy things of it.Plus George Miller is still doing Fury Road, and I think he's learned from Beyond Thunderdome and knows what to fix. The fact that the movie will be R shows already that he's not making Beyond Thunderdome 2.

Weren't the Star Trek films relatively well received?

Fury Road will be PG-13, disappointingly.nigga what I read it was Rhttp://www.imdb.com/title/tt1392190/
