Life is so beautiful, if you don't think so you just need to change your focus

Went through a near death experience recently and it completely shocked my system and gave me massive appreciation and love for my life. Helped me focus on things that really matter to me. I believe everyone should go through a near death experience to come out with a new perspective or at least some appreciation for little things

I considered leaving that part out, but decided to keep it. Most people will never gain an elevated level of love for their life unless they go through something intense like that.

More love for their own lives = more love spread to others lives

Y'know dude, I respect your search for enlightement or whatever, but you really need to put more thought into your positions. People go through near death experiences every day. Don't let your emotions do so much of the driving.

Im over enlightenment now. It's silly to chase it, now I just meditate, read, and search out peak experiences or other things that give me lots of flow (lifting, sex, adventures, good food etc).

No ego death is horrifying. I had a mini ego death a few months ago. Most intense week of my life I doubt most people could handle that

Ego death isn't always the exact same experience for everyone, or even for the same person if they experience it multiple times. I've never had an NDE but everything about the experience seems to be particularly similar to ego death experiences.

Not every NDE experience is blissful either. Some people have had an experience more synonymous with the concept of hell than with heaven.
