Ignoring the prequels, I still think "Obi Wan Kenobi" really means "OB 1 Kenobi" and it is his clone designation from the Clone Wars where the jedi Ben Kenobi was cloned for military use. He was faring fairly well against Vader on the Death Star, so you can assume that he was at least as strong as Luke was during Return of the Jedi.

Didn't see Obi Wan do much impressive stuff asides from beating Durge. Dunno if Obi Wan could have beaten Palpatine but Mace could have maybe done it if Anakin didn't cockblock him. Palpatine was only playing helpless though I think. Could have blasted him if he wanted to.

He was actually probably fucked though since Mace knew how to redirect the lightening.I still don't think Mace is dead. If Darth Maul getting cut in half and replaced with cybernerics after a fall down a reactor shaft is canon, then I'm pretty fucking sure that mace could survive a lost arm and being zapped out a window.
