How much do you pay for your mobile plan?

And what do you pay for, minutes, texts etc etc

I'm interested to know because I just read about Google's Fi project which is their new mobile service plan which provides the basics (minutes and texts) for $20 and internet data for $10 every GB. I pay £12 for 500 minutes, unlimited texts and 3GB data which is good for a sim only plan but when compared to this it's brilliant. For the equivalent in the US I would have to pay $50 a month, and I don't even get a phone with it. I'm pretty disappointed tbh, considering that this is Google I was expecting it to be much cheaper.

The only good thing I do have say about it is that you get money back for data you haven't used. So if you paid $30 for 3GB and only used 2.2GB you'd get $8 credit towards your next month.

P.S I know I'm using US pricing but it's planned to come to the UK if this early access scheme is successful which why I was interested.

I got 30 bucks for 5gb of data with shared 500 minutes with my dad, pretty good considering we don't ever hit the limit. Unlimited texts too.

Overall for 4 people it's 130 a month.

I stayed on my parents plan because it's cheaper, and the cut I pay is $35.

Project Fi seems interesting but their LTE network is shitty.

No contest at all. Google can have all the cute ads it wants, its network is worse than T-Mobile and MetroPCS, so I wouldn't use it. Plus it only works with the Nexus 6. This is another case of Google launching a product way too early.
