Like, it's not as active as the first offsite, which I understand why.  Like, this place is staying alive, not really struggling.  I just don't find the topics that interesting.

I give it a 10 solely because it's my new home and hub of activity since I lost my account on Bungie.Blind. If this place wasn't here, I'd have nowhere else to go and would lose contact with the folks I enjoy talking to here.

 The mods are actually capable of doing something and the head honcho won't just throw around "Hurr durr use the glorious self moderation button."

And while activity can be slow some days, I take it in stride because I understand that we don't have anything big sucking in new people's attention. But I'm thankful for what I have here.

8, everything else is great but we need more members.

It would be pretty easy to poach them from the #Help forum on Bnet. I see a couple complaints about the forum layout every day (sometimes more).

8. The design is nice, the site is active, but the moderation seems a bit full of itself at times. In addition, it seems that people who are merely disliked by the community are punished, instead of people that actually break rules. And yeah, what Comms said, there is a drought of interesting topics IMO.

Why? The layout is my single favorite thing about the site.

And with the whole "punishing" thing, Sentra obviously hates me, and Kinder is holding a grudge against me, so that's like a free -2 every day. Just because it's Sentra and some butthurt guy. If the whole thing where "Bad" members are muted, then it gives butthurt users way more power than they should have.

Again, any kind of interface change (people being unable to see your posts/being banned) because of the trust system is, frankly, idiotic. It should only be an aesthetic change. When you start punishing people because of -1's, the whole thing stops being fun and starts being tedious.

And it'd be fun to add a few negative ranks in between DeeJ and Muted.

Absolutely not going to happen. You'll never find out exactly how it works; only that it still involves Trust ratings.

Negative ratings are still slippery and very much under construction; there might be more, but there might not be. Muted (the lowest) won't be activated until I know the system isn't being exploited.

If I don't actually get muted, then sure. I would see no problem with that.

Muted won't be an absolute mute; you'll still see their threads and posts. The only thing that changes is that they'll be wrapped in a spoiler-like box and will need to be clicked open to view.

This system will only target users with a long history of overwhelming negative ratings. You would not yet fall into the Muted rating. Actually, nobody on this forum would fall into it; not even the rest of the DeeJ members.
