How many of you can write well?

We need to do something to draw some more (quality) members into our little group, and like one individual said (which I forgot about until someone else said the same thing) we could do a sort of blog/review/news section of the forum and add it to a front page for visitors to see when they land here.

Anyone interested in this? Anyone have another good idea to bring in new recruits?

I can write relatively well when I'm trying. What kind of pieces are you thinking about putting on the front page?

Does it have to be impartial?

I'm only asking because if it's anything serious news related, it's going to be virtually impossible to keep it unbiased from one side or another. _{inb4IsraelvsPalestineNews}
If no, I wouldn't mind doing it.

If it's game review stuff it sounds like a good idea, but we'd need constant in-flow of game/dev updates, maybe with multiple people to cover multiple platforms what with all their own exclusives or the plethora of PC mods available.

Anything, probably, but with an emphasis on gaming, TV, movies, and tech.

Samples will probably not be needed. I'll set up the news forum and then start moving quality reviews/articles into it. After a member's made a few good pieces, I'll give them permission to add content there directly.

I actually can write rather decently (when up to it and have an idea of what I want to say), especially since my English composition 112 professor last semester stated in front of the entire class of how great my writing is. Guess it's all part of the bullshit and filler that I can turn into something not regarded as such; rather weird but has helped me countless times
