I can do that backwards type whistle, which isn't really a proper whistle, but it's something.

The best I can manage is a really weak and crappy whistle. That being said I can do that whistle/flute thing where you cup your hands together and blow into the hole made by your thumbs, so I guess that's something.

Used to have braces years ago and learned how to whistle alternatively by sucking in air, instead of blowing out air

I can whistle easily enough but I've never been able to do the super loud whistle with your hands, where you have like a U shape and blow into it.
