I will point out that I work in the meat industry and am required to kill the animals as humanely as possible, by snapping their necks.
..I don't believe you.

Dude I've said countless times that I am a chicken house operator.

I literally have to walk through the houses everyday, find the defective or dying chickens, and kill them.

I am a farmer, but a farmer within the meat production industry.
I feel like I definitely should have known this if it was true.

I'm skeptical and need proof.

I have to wonder what the thought process is behind the people who call for and design machines like that.

Like, why?

Nobody understands engineers. They're like... mankind's specialized retards and the maintainer/mechanics' natural enemy.

well shit..I don't have any pictures...

ahh, I know.

generally you start the day buy waking up early and checking the temperature in your houses, as well as water usage. too much water and you may have a leak or busted line, which can be disasterous as it soaks the floor and can damage their feet, as well as making it a mucky mess that they can get stuck in and die. when they're young, such as chicks they are required to stay at the temperature of about 85-90. this lowers as they age.

several hours after checking them the first time, it's time to walk through to get dead birds out. I am in the early (chick) stages, so this is quite easy, later on birds can weigh between 8-11 lbs and the only practical way to do this is with a bunch in hands, this is why I can have strong musculature without doing any "lifting". while you are doing this you are checking for any problems with the house, which are semi-common, which often use the rest of the day to fix.

other than that, you mostly have to check on them and make sure nothing goes wrong, such as a lack of feed, water, or incorrect lighting settings (industry agrees solid walls that don't let in light are better, and for heat they are, but I prefer the openable walls of egg houses.)

that's a quick overview of a normal day.

chicken nuggets
Which are made from old, sick, and dying adult chickens, not chicks.

Extraneous chicks (those found in the gif) are considered an unnecessary byproduct of the industry.

That machine is designed to eliminate them as efficiently as possible, nothing more.

It's a complete waste.

this is not necessarily true, although it's correct that it's adult chickens and not chicks, generally chicken nuggets come from egg laying birds, who have a lot of antibiotics and health suplements in them as they are more prone to diseases than the more meaty food-chickens.

farmers are paid more for healthy birds, so it makes very, very little sense to sell off your birds sick and dying.

You know, usually, the people they tend to hire for these jobs are usually autistic/retarded.

Because they are less likely to feel empathy.

Everything makes sense now.

you've proven you know nothing of the chicken production industry.

Most farmers aren't "hired" they operate under contract and have full operation of their own farms. They simply follow company guidelines in order to get the chickens they produce. the farmers grow the birds themeselves, then give them back to be slaughtered.

"flaming nipple chops"-Your host, the man they call Ghost.

To say, 'nothing is true', is to realize that the foundations of society are fragile, and that we must be the shepherds of our own civilization. To say, 'everything is permitted', is to understand that we are the architects of our actions, and that we must live with their consequences, whether glorious or tragic.
I'm glad to see my leave hasn't ceased the extremism, dying animal images, name-calling, and general stupidity at all.

I've watched this before

about 90%

shittiness of the job depends on the company you are contracted to, tyson and townsend can be shitty, but smaller operations are much better.

Since you can't objectively look at your life, which I guess now is a requirement to be able to choose things, why does anything you say hold merit?

Because I can look objectively at my life and say "Y'know, it would've been a lot better if I had never been born."
But you just said nobody can look objectively at their life?

Quote
Okay, Frank Miller.
>Kill all humans
How do you expect that to be taken?

Quote
Consent can be rendered void in certain circumstances. Taking a life to save 100, for example.

I mean, I wouldn't want to forcefully sterilise everyone (i'd rather convince them), but I probably won't shed a tear if our drinking water has purposefully rendered us incapable of reproduction thanks to Ultron or some shit.

And I'm also not killing anyone. Not sure where you got that from "consent-based philosophy."
But wouldn't the most death be best, since it would be numerical attrition until nobody is left to suffer?

Extinction is killing off a species, that is what you're doing. Ensuring the species as a whole dies without consent.

I also forgot it said cramped quarters.

more a problem with the increasing volume of the animals as they grow, they aer stil open to move around, though some houses use the cage method. much more have open floors.

clumping up together and dying is more to do with the chickens own retardation.

"Antinatalism is a philosophical position that assigns a negative value to birth, standing in opposition to natalism. It has been advanced by figures such as Arthur Schopenhauer, Emil Cioran, Peter Wessel Zapffe and David Benatar."

Where do you get "kill all humans" out of this?

Here's one used for plastics.
